Seats keeps as little about you as it can. This is everything.
When you sign in with π
- We ask π for read-only access (your profile and your posts). We read your account's id, username, creation date and follower count to check you meet the minimums, and your recent posts to find the one that claims your seat.
- Your session lives in an encrypted cookie in your browser, not on our servers, and expires within two hours. Signing out deletes it. We never post, follow or do anything else on your behalf.
- When a post claims a seat we store its post id, your π account id, the wallet address and the coin, so the same post can't claim twice. On chain, your seat is tied to a salted hash of your π id, not the id itself.
Wallets and the blockchain
Wallet addresses, trades, seats and launches are public on Solana and permanent: anyone can see them, and nobody, including us, can delete them.
Coins you launch
The image and details you upload for a coin are stored by us and shown publicly to everyone.
Technical data
- To stop abuse we count requests per IP address in short windows. Those counters are used for nothing else.
- Your watchlist is kept only in your browser.
- No ads, no analytics trackers, no third-party cookies.
Who else handles data
Vercel hosts the site, Neon hosts the database and our RPC provider relays blockchain requests, each only to run the service. π handles sign-in under its own privacy policy. Your wallet app is separate software with its own policy.
Questions or deletion
Message @seatsdotfamily on π. We can delete what we store off chain about your account; what's on chain stays. See also the terms.
